Banbury will host its very first Stand-Up Comedy Festival, starting November 8th! An entire day filled with Stand Up Comedy shows, kids shows & even a Spanish-speaking show! Taking place in four distinctive performance venues in the town—The Apothecary Tap, Lock 29, The Mill Arts Centre & The Village Butty (a canal boat!)—the festival will feature a curated lineup of comedians, including rising talents & brilliant comics from the UK comedy circuit. If you’re a dedicated comedy aficionado or just looking for a fun day out, this one-day event offers something to everyone. We’re supporting the independent arts scene to make shows affordable and encourage more people to come out and see them.
