Banbury will host its very first Stand-Up Comedy Festival, starting November 14th! An entire day filled with Stand Up Comedy shows, kids shows & even a Spanish-speaking show! Taking place in five distinctive performance venues in the town—The Apothecary Tap, Lock 29, The Mill Arts Centre, Freemasons Hall & The Village Butty (a canal boat!)—the festival will feature a curated lineup of comedians, including rising talents & brilliant comics from the UK comedy circuit. If you’re a dedicated comedy aficionado or just looking for a fun day out, this one-day event offers something to everyone. We’re proud to support our independent arts community by making live shows accessible to everyone and bringing people together to discover new talent and great performances. All shows are free to attend, with seats available to reserve in advance on a Pay What You Want basis. Spaces are limited, and once a show reaches capacity, we can’t admit any more guests — so we encourage you to book ahead where possible. Enjoyed the show?
