Ever wonder why we are the way we are? Marine biologist turned award-winning comedian Robyn Perkins brings together comedy and science in her critically acclaimed panel show. The topic to be explored at Banbury is: The Psychology of Conspiracy Theories. Why do people believe them? Why are they so intriguing? Are they really that bad? We'll answer questions you never knew you had! On November 8th, Perkins is joined by Anna George, MSc, DPhil Candidate, who is a researcher at the University of Oxford looking into conspiracy theories, misinformation, and why your uncle won’t stop posting about it on Facebook.
